Lip Pigmentation or Lip Blushing

Lip blushing is a form of semi-permanent makeup. Essentially, it is a cosmetic tattoo of the lips that serve the following purposes:

  • Enhances the beauty of the natural lip colour,
  • Changing the lip colour to a desired lip colour,
  • Improving the shape of the lips,
  • Giving definition and the illusion of fuller and healthier look

  • Traditional lip tattoos are performed using ink and the ink is inserted into the dermis while permanent makeup artists use organic pigments and modern, digital tools that can change the colour of your lips by depositing pigment into the lips by building layers of colour. This process has a more natural 3D look than outdated lip tattoos that make the colour of the lip look very flat. We use high quality vegan pigments. In the past, traditional carbon-based tattoo ink produced harsh results that would age to an unappealing colour while pigments naturally fade away over time.

Touchups can be done every 2 years to maintain the colour, change the colour or even change the shape of the lips as desired.

This treatment is generally performed using a topical anesthetic cream. However the client can request a lip block which will be administered by an anesthetist.

    Microblading and Shading

Microblading technique creates natural eyebrows by imitating hair strokes to form a desirable eyebrow shape. It can be used to fill in gaps in your natural eyebrow as well. Great eyebrows can help frame your face and give you a youthful appearance. The pigments sit so superficially in the skin so that the strokes are crisp and mimic natural eyebrow hair.

Shading or powder brows are achieved by using a mechanized tool that gently inserts pigments to make the eyebrow appear more defined.

Microblading can be performed on its own or in combination with shading depending on the clients preference and/or necessity.

The results will last between 1-3 years predicted upon biological and environmental exposure it receives.

    Scalp Micro Pigmentation

Scalp micropigmentaion (SMP) creates the illusion of fuller hair. Tiny, layered dots in different hues of black to replicate the look of a shadow on your scalp. This style, referred to as pointillism, is done to create natural-looking depth and definition. The results will last for 5 years.

This process may be useful for people who experience all forms of hair loss. This includes folks with:

  • Cancer
  • Alopecia
  • Thinning hair
  • Male and female pattern baldness and cover scars caused by hair transplants

  • Permanant eyeliner and tight line pigmentation

This is done with the use of a pen containing pigments that tattoos the skin and to create the look of makeup. A tattoo can mimic eyeliner and it can also be used to outline the tight line to give an illusion of thicker eye lashes and also to define the eye.

    Areola and Scar Camouflage

We custom blend a pigment which matches your skin tone identically, we use a range of needles to implant this pigment into the skin creating a 'permanent' camouflage. Results last around 2 1/2 years before you will need a refresh.
